| The Wine and Blues crossroads the september 3rd in Città della Pieve to open Bianco Rosso & Blues, autumn festival (from the September 3rd to the October 31st ). In this festival the events follow an itinerary through the most beautiful spots of the lake territory, including museums, theatres and historical palazzos, with the presence of some of the best wine producers of the area, and have as a common thread the connection between good music and good food. The first meeting of Bianco Rosso & Blues will be an aphrodisiac evening, event dedicated to the culture of aphrodisiacs through history. In this frame will be there the Miss Tia’ show, “Love Luxury”, with the aphrodisiac foods and wine tastings.
Singer and actress, Tia Architto was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. In January 1993 she debuts with director Janice Honeyman in the musical “Once on this Island” at the Natal Playhouse and Nico Malan Theatre in Cape Town and for many years she continues her theatrical career in South Africa doing many shows at the Civic Theatre Johannesburg. In 1997 she moves to Milan where she is resident singer at one of Milan’s foremost jazz clubs with The New Romantic Orchestra a 13 piece jazz and swing big band, singing on their CD “Caruso”. She tours Italy and Switzerland with various bands. In 2000 Tia returns to Johannesburg where she collaborates with Colin Law on the Blues brothers musical “Jailhouse Rock” at the Civic Theatre and “Mercury Rising” which ran at the Civic and at the State Theatre, Pretoria. These two shows earned Tia 2 FNB Vita Award nominations for best supporting actress in a musical, and best actress in a musical in 2001. In 2002 Tia moved to Rome where she composes her own songs in collaboration with important dj and musicians; some of her songs are part of important European compilations. At the end of 2006 Tia worked on “Menopause The Musical” at the Montecasino Theatre for Hazel Feldman and Peter Torien, and in January 2007 Tia was cast in “Menopause The Musical” for the Italian tour with Marisa Laurito, Fioretta Mari and Fiordaliso. Recently she has worked with the director Massimo Romeo Piparo on Hairspray in the role of Motormouth Maybelle and in Cenerentola in the role of the Queen at the “Sistina” Theatre. For the “Aphrodisiac Festival” Miss Tia will present her sensual project “Love Luxury” supported by two very appreciated musicians who have important collaborations in Italy and abroad.
